Left-wing activists are organizing a repetition of the “No Kings” protests nationwide in conjunction with the country’s Independence Day holiday, as indicated by information shared on social media.
“This 4th of July, we are reclaiming America’s promise,” states a flyer that was shared on the X platform, which contained several spelling errors, prompting some to question whether it originated in the U.S. or from an external entity.
However, the upcoming protests are already facing criticism from detractors, many of whom are weary of the far left’s behavior.
“What exactly are @NoKingsNoCrowns 2.0 achieving? NoKings 1.0 was a failure and a flop. Nobody cared then, and nobody cares now. Nothing changed then, and nothing will change now. @realDonaldTrump will still be our president, and he is the farthest from being any king ever. If he were a king, you #NoKings wouldn’t be able to protest and riot. It seems to me that the #NoKings @Stop_Project25 are the Kings. They are the ones who desire control and power. So good luck with 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 10.0. Nothing will ever change. Their hypocrisy never ceases to astonish me,” remarked one user.
Numerous Trump officials have consistently cautioned against resorting to violence during such protests.Earlier this month, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino issued a stark warning to rioters in Los Angeles who were throwing rocks at federal agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as they passed by.
The deputy director requested the public’s help in locating the individuals involved and cautioned the offenders that it was “merely a matter of time” before they would be apprehended.
“We are actively looking for information concerning the identity of the individual(s) who are throwing rocks at vehicles engaged in essential law enforcement activities,” he stated in a message on X.
“One of the individuals seen in this footage is wearing a helmet, and we will employ our investigative resources to identify this person. I strongly advise you to surrender, as it is only a matter of time,” he remarked.
FBI Director Kash Patel also conveyed a direct message to the suspects.
“If you assault a police officer, you will be arrested… it does not matter where you originated, how you arrived, or which movement you align with. If the local law enforcement does not support our officers on the thin blue line, we @FBI will,” he stated.
In light of their warnings, one suspect believed to be responsible for throwing rocks at passing ICE vehicles has been identified.
Elpidio Reyna is being sought by the FBI for allegedly throwing rocks and explosives at federal agents and their vehicles. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is offering a reward of $50,000 for information that leads to his arrest. Reyna, who has a previous criminal history, is also facing additional charges, including felony burglary and drug-related offenses.
Additionally, Bill Essayli, U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, announced this week that federal charges are being brought against a man who was recorded distributing boxes of heavy-duty face shields to rioters during the most violent night of the unrest on June 9, as reported by CBS News.
