Maybe they have a special connection to the district. Let’s go find out.”
Upon meeting Mrs. Best, Daniels inquired whether she was aware that she and her husband had contributed over $16,000 to Rep. Crockett’s campaign. When Mrs. Best indicated that she had no knowledge of the donations, Daniels conveyed to his followers on X just how strange the situation was, considering the Bests’ age and locality. He added, “This guy, he’s a 73-year-old retiree, unemployed.”
